The Dental Health Clinic is sponsored by the Centennial Baptist Association and the Georgia Baptist Mission Board. Over the years, we have been able to serve nearly 600 people with dental needs. Our most recent dental clinic was held March 9-11, 2023 at FBC Thomaston in Upson County. Our next clinic will be held in March 7-9, 2024, at First Baptist Church High Falls. Thank you to all who served our community through this wonderful ministry.
If you or someone you know is without dental insurance and in need of dental care, the process is simple. A phone number will be published early in the year. This number will not be active until the Monday morning before the clinic is held. The person in need of dental care will need to be the one making the appointment, since we have to ask personal medical questions. Please note that in order to serve as many people as possible in this short time, no one will be seen without an appointment. These appointments are in high demand and the call volume is high. Please continue to call until you speak with someone. No voicemails will be returned. The number for the 2024 Dental Clinic will be 706-741-4737.
If you are a dentist, dental assistant, or medical professional and would like to serve the community through this ministry, please contact the CBA office at 706-647-4959 and we will put you in touch with our coordinator. (We will not be making appointments through this number.) It is vital that all of our dental and medical professionals are scheduled at least two weeks prior to the event.
If you would like to volunteer to serve at the dental clinic in some other capacity, we invite you to attend the Volunteer Training Session which will be held at 4:00 PM the day of screening appointments, March 9th. If you have attended this training before it is not necessary to attend again, but we still need you to contact the CBA office at 770-647-4959, so we can schedule you to help. Also, if your church would like to provide a meal for the volunteers, please let us know.
