Mobilizing Young Adults for Ministry

The best way to reach young adults in your church and community is to engage them in missions, ministry, and leadership opportunities. This session will offer practical ways your church can engage and mobilize 18-25 year olds.

Beverly Skinner is the Collegiate Ministry Catalyst for Georgia Baptist Mission Board. She leads Georgia Baptists to advance the gospel on all campuses in Georgia through Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM). Beverly graduated from Baylor University with a BA in Communications and from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with an MDiv. Her collegiate ministry experience includes serving as a campus minister at community colleges in Texas, The University of Mississippi and Texas A&M University.  She also served as the associate director of collegiate ministry for the Mississippi Baptist Convention Board.
She first served Georgia Baptists as the Young Women, Women’s Ministry, and Communications consultant for Georgia Baptist Women. She is married to Warren Skinner, retired Georgia Tech BCM campus minister.
