Meeting the Seven Churches of Revelation
Revelation begins with letters to seven churches in the southeastern corner of modern-day Turkey. Understanding the culture of those communities is one of the keys to unlocking the message of the final book in the Bible.
After pastoring three churches in a 27-year span, Andy Cook leads a ministry called Experience Israel Now. He’s taken more than 600 people to Israel since 2000, but attendance at his virtual-tour Bible conferences has topped 90,000 since 2015. Cook is the author of nine books and one Bible study, and the creator of a new website that offers video support to pastors and Bible teachers around the world. While working for the Macon Telegraph, he edited the first series of sports articles to ever win a Pulitzer Prize (1984). He has been married to Melody since 1979. They live in Peach County, Georgia and have three married daughters. They also have seven grandchildren and a three legged dog named “Lt. Dan.”
